More from the Family Man vaults from Dub Store. This awesome record by Vivian Jackson aka Yabby U backed by the Barrett brothers on drum and bass, is simply one of the greatest roots reggae records ever made; a slow, brooding, heavyweight tune with that eerie fyfe refrain and Yabby's profound lyrics and vocal that never grows old. The killer version side is a then - circa 1974 - state of the art Tubby's style hi-pass philtre dubwise that boggles the mind (its probably Errol T or Karl Pitterson imitating Tubby's innovation). The rhythm was further employed for the great Distant Drums instrumental.
