The latest release from the Jamaican Recordings subsidiary Kingston Sounds follows on from their recent and rather good Prince Jammy selection with a collection of tracks drawn from the Tapper Zukie vaults including essential seventies and early eighties tracks such as Prince Alla’s Gold Diver, The Vibes Tones’ Leaders Of Black Countries and the Tullo T deejay cut to the Mighty Diamonds’ Morgan The Pirate. These are supported by lesser known but equally delicious Easy Come Easy Go by Horace Andy, Errol Dunkley’s take on the Midnight Cowboy theme (aka Everybody’s Talking At Me), a Junior Ross obscurity Ruff Ruff Way Ahead (not the same track as the recent Prince All revive of similar title) and others.
