Originally released in circa 1981, this is the part two to the original Sir Coxsone King Of The Dubb (sic) Rock album, sans one track, Poor Man’s Story featuring deejay Levi ‘Reggae Reggae Sauce’ Roots, included on the original press, but absent here for some obscure reason. That’s the UK’s legendary Lloydie Coxsone by the way, not the CS Dodd of Studio One fame. The rest, though, is present and correct including dub cuts to Fred Locks and the Creation Steppers’ Homeward Bound and Africa (as Psalms 87.2 featuring pioneering UK based deejay Pebbles aka High Priest), Burning Spear’s Travelling, Rockfort Rock, Bobby Bowa etc. complete with great intro’s from members of the Coxsone Posse who’s names, including such luminaries as Poppa Festus, Blacka Dread, Bikey, Harlesden, Gappy and Gunsmoke, are listed on the reverse of Paul Bradshaw’s beautiful sleeve, one of the best reggae sleeves ever. Recorded at Harry J and Channel One Studios and mixed at Channel One by Scientist and Lloyd Coxsone. TMLP003
