Excellent Max Romeo album from 1976, a year before his classic Lee Perry produced War In A Babylon set. Enthused by Michael Manley's ultimately doomed Socialist political revolution in Jamaica, Romeo began to write optimistic songs in celebration of the Marxist doctrine espoused by Manley, which encouraged Jamaica's poor to take up the hammer and sickle and, to America's horror, side with Fidel in Cuba. Well, that was never going to happen, but for a while many Jamaicans believed that it might. This album provides insight into that long gone era in Jamaica's history. With the exception of the title track and a couple of other tracks produced by Pete Weston and Three Blind Mice produced by Lee Perry, the rest of the album is produced by Clive 'Azul' Hunt and as a whole is at least as good as War In A Babylon, if not as well known.
