Excellent long overdue reissue of Little Roy's debut album originally released on Munchie Jackson's US based Wackies affiliated label Aires in 1975 and very hard to find ever since. Kicks off with the classic title track, his commentary on the politically motivated troubles then tearing then downtown Kingston environs apart, and proceeding through a great selection of early Little Roy singles including Mr T, on the rhythm used for Dennis Brown's Set Your Little Heart Free, Blackbird and Don't Cross The Nation alongside other excellent material such as Your Cup Is Flowing, God Is Good, Hail Bredda Nyah, I Do and Old Man which repurposes the rhythm used most notably for Horace Andy's Ain't No Sunshine amongst many others. This really is an exceptional album and its only a shame that it didn't gain more exposure on its original release as it easily holds its own amongst the slew of classic albums that were around at the time.
