Studio One reissue of the classic Skylarking LP by Horace Andy. Featuring on the cover a young, beaming Horace posing in his classic seventies garb, fringed leather waistcoat and tan slacks, resting his hands on an acoustic guitar, before the monument at National Heroes Park in Kingston, Jamaica. The album, originally issued in 1972, is crammed with outstanding tracks perfectly showcasing Horace's versatility, blending effective covers of contemporary songs by Cat Stevens (Where Do The Children Play) and The Pop Tops (Mammie Blue) with excellent self-penned songs, many of which have gone on to be covered by other artists and even updated by Horace himself. These include Just Say Who, Love Of A Woman, Please Don't Go, Every Tongue Shall Tell, See A Man's Face, I'll Be Gone, Got To Be Sure and the title track. An essential reggae album then, that no self-respecting collection should be without.
Comes in black or green vinyl.
