Classic album from Desmond ‘Desi Roots’ Young who had worked as a singer with the Now Generation Band and the resident band at the Sheraton Hotel in Kingston the Caribs. He also recorded the original version of the roots classic Warning for producer Jimmy Radway that provided the basis for the epic Big Youth Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing. Produced by Roy Forbes Allan aka the legendary Hawkeye and utilising a top notch set of musicians based around Sly & Robbie at Channel One, Joe Gibbs and Harry J studios, this excellent albums features such great tunes as Weed Fields, He Ain’t Coming, Uptown Rebel, Go Deh Right and Nature Boy. It hasn’t been around for a while, so snap it up while it’s here!
