Backatcha Records say "
Top-shelf lovers rock version of William DeVaughn’s ‘Be Thankful for What You Got’ by Cornel Campbell cut from master tape alongside the original killer dub mix on the flip. ‘Be Thankful’ was first released on a 7” single by D-Roy Records, launching the Harlesden-based label’s entry onto the reggae scene before becoming a hub for numerous UK lovers rock releases in the late 70s and early 80s. Owned by Success Sound System owner and producer, Delroy Witter, early productions for D-Roy often included backing from Aswad, The Heptics and occasionally featured tracks from The Revolutionaries, either recorded in London when on tour, or on recordings obtained direct from Channel One Studios in Kingston, Jamaica, including numerous dub versions featured on the forthcoming extended dub album (BK120) compiled from the D-Roy tape archives."
