Studio One have at last reissued one of the inarguable classic albums of both the label and indeed the entire genre of reggae music. Sometime in the late sixties the singer Bob Andy, fresh from the Paragons, cut the superb I've Got To Go Back Home at Coxsone Dodd's studio in Brentford Road, Kingston, Jamaica, featuring label mates The Wailers on the backing vocals. Andy followed this triumph with a series of brilliant sides including My Time, Desperate Lover, Too Experience, Going Home, Unchained and Feeling Soul, classics all and all included here. All killer, no filler, as they used to say. Nicely presented with the original cover design - some minor changes to the reverse - excellent sound reproduction and label choice. Essential. Two variants available, original black vinyl and limited gold pressing.
