Originally released in 1980 on Starlight Records, just as Lee Perry began to dismantle his famous Black Ark studio, Black Ark In Dub, licensed to Starlight by Perry's wife Pauline Morrison, collected ten stunning dubs rescued from the last days of the Ark, plus a dub to Morrison's production of Lacksley Castell's Jah Love Is Sweeter using a rhythm provided to her by Prince Jammy. Ark tracks include dubs to Words / Lion A Di Winner, Watty Burnett's awesome Open The Gate, George Faith's Guideline, Danny Hensworth's wicked Mr Money Man, and Ras Keatus I's Dreadlocks I.
