Sweet soul vibes from Alton Ellis & Slim Smith with a fascinating history. Recorded in London at Chalk Farm Studios in 1971 produced by Steve Pemberton, early mixes were released in Jamaica on the Melrose label before the finished mixes were licensed to A&M Records in 1973. The band featured on the recordings was Alton's touring band Luna Funk with Alton on piano, though his parts were later overdubbed by Mike Hugg of Manfred Mann fame.
