Volcano Revisited - Kingston Dancehall Scene 1983 - Book
Back in the eighties, two guys from Finland (Tero Kaski, R.I.P. & Pekka Vuorinen) went to Jamaica to document the music scene centred around Henry 'Junjo' Lawes' legendary Volcano sound system and interviewed all the singers and deejays affiliated with sound. They collected their material in the book "Kingston Dancehall Scene 1983", it has been out of print for ages and much appreciated among the fans of the genre while being very hard to get. This is a much expanded -over 200 pages - update of the earlier book crammed with full colour photo's and is a beautiful reminder of the vibrant reggae scene of those days.
