Johnny Clarke - Praise Jah - CD (Jah Shaka Music)

 This and the Roger Robin album are amongst the last recordings worked on at Fashion’s A Class Studio, featuring Mafia & Fluxy and engineered by Gussie P. Johnny Clarke voiced the rhythms at Leggo Studio in Jamaica where it was given a final mix by Bravo. Clarke is a hero to the Shaka posse for his seventies recordings for Bunny Lee, the roots stuff like African Roots, Blood Dunza, None Shall Escape The Judgement etc. and of course the awesome Babylon as featured in the film of the same name. This is the second album he’s cut for Shaka, and he revisits some of his old killers including African People, Cold I Up (renamed I No Want No Guy here), Blood Dunza and Sinners Repent alongside new songs including Praise Up Jahoviah, Signs Of The Time, Love Jah, Jah Creator and Praise Jah.
