Added 11/03/10: CD issue of this Errol ‘Flabba’ Holt album produced by Jah Woosh. Recorded at Channel One, Randy’s and Joe Gibbs Studios, engineered by Pat Kelly and Prince Jammy at King Tubby’s and backed by the Revolutionaries and the Soul Syndicate, and originally issued circa 1976. Holt, of course, went on to play bass for the Roots Radics in the eighties, but here he is pursuing his calling as a vocalist, and convinces with his performances on the songs contained within. My Breathren uses the same heavyweight riddim as Al Campbell’s Gee Baby, Fly Your Dread, included here with its version was recently reissued on 45, and there are versions of Peter Tosh’s Babylon Queendom and the Heptones’ Pure Sorrow.
