Raised in Riverton City and being Miss Ivy’s last Son, Rodney Price aka Warlord aka The Five Star General aka Bounty Hunter (his original DJ name) aka Bounty Killer finally gets a greatest hits album. Could've done eight CD’s and still that wouldn’t have been enough! Good move by VP to start with his Jammy days first. Spy Fi Die, Coppershot (beware that some tracks have been treated to overdubs), Statement, Long Or Tall (his piece to the Digital B cut of Death In The Arena), If A War, Lodge and that’s not even half of the first CD. You get the picture. Bounty Killer history we’re talking about. They’ve even managed to find his combo with Ninjaman (Badman No Cub Scout) re-titled Bwoy Nuh Run (those of us who was lucky got this first time around on a Kingston 11 twelve inch!). Too many tracks to talk about. There’s 40 in all plus a mega mix by King Addies (who Bounty has said had the best set of Bounty dubs with Bass Odyssey having the most dubs). The legend Babyface himself does the honours. VP has done well considering the catalogue Bounty has. I guess there’s a part two in the pipeline!
